Forest Hills Mold in a Basement

This basement in Forest Hills was scheduled for a remodel conversion into a bonus room. The humidity had been high, no A/C, and enough cellulose matter for mold to grow into large colonies. We set up an air scrubber to purge the air of mold spores, pollen, and other allergens as we scraped the block walls before applying an antifungal product. After some testing, our SERVPRO Applied Microbial Remediation Technician determined the basement area was ready for the remodel.
